Everton have rejected a €15m offer for Henry Onyekuru from Galatasaray and have demanded a fee in the region of €25m for the Nigeria international, according to a report by Turkish newspaper Sabah.
Onyekuru who joined Galatasaray on a season loan deal from Everton last summer
after he failed to secure a work permit to play in England, has been an instant hit at the club since he arrived.
Sabah’s report claims clubs from Spain, France and Germany are following the Everton player who has scored 14 goals and provided four assists in 33 games.
According to the report, it will be impossible for Galatasaray to sign Onyekuru permanently because of the club’s financial situation.
With Everton not keen on another loan deal, the Nigerian international will return to Goodison Park at the end of the season.
Onyekuru’s Everton contract lasts until June 2022.
He has previously featured for KAS Eupen and Anderlecht
