Ede Poly announces resumption date after a long COVID-19 break


The Authorities of Federal Polytechnic Ede, Osun State has ordered the reopening of the school from the 14th of October, 2020 after a long Covid-19 break, sources at the Administrative Building in the School have confirmed to REPUBLICAN.

Though the School is yet to release an official public statement on the new development but sources who confirmed the reopening date to REPUBLICAN said the Management ordered the resumption of full academic activities from 19th of October 2020 during a meeting on Monday.

While disclosing that the institution’s academic board approved a revised academic calendar for the session.

Meanwhile, the source said the management of the polytechnic enjoined students to ensure; full compliance with safety protocols as clearly specified by the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on Covid-19, measures include the use of face mask, regular hand washing with soap under running water and social distancing.

While adding that the Management has put necessary measures in place to make the campus conducive for teaching and learning.
